On the 27th June and 4th July 2026, Sub-Saharan Africa Brain Health Initiative (SABHI) in collaboration with Okposi Medical Students Association, Ebonyi State Medical Students Association and the Ebonyi Dementia Support Group organised a two-part webinar.

Day 1 of the webinar focused on the basics of dementia, and using the Sensitize, Educate, and Evaluate Dementia Project, exposed participants to the local realities of dementia knowledge, attitude, and practice among non-physician primary healthcare providers in Ohaozara LGA of Ebonyi State.

Day 2 of the webinar was a deeper dive into dementia, it’s causes, signs and symptoms, prevention, risk factors, management and care practices.
